DESCRIPTION:Food Packaging for Food Pantry\, Sat. April 11\, 9:30-11:30AM\,  8 volunteers are needed. (This event is now on Waiting List status. If you sign up you will receive the automated responses but will only be contacted with the details if they need more volunteers or there is a volunteer cancellation). This will be our first time assisting at this event.  The event will be set up by 9:30AM so we can package the food at 9:30AM that will be handed out starting at 11:30AM. This is our first time assisting at this event which is located at the Denver Islamic Food Pantry near Monaco/Warren in Denver. The pantry provides essential support to those facing food insecurity.  It is open by appointment for everyone to take what they need\, when they need it. They distribute items such as grains\, canned goods\, fruits & vegetables\, and often other household staples like diapers and wipes.
