SUMMARY:Metro Caring Low-Income Food Bank
DESCRIPTION:Food Bag Making/Helping at Food Market for Metro Caring\, Wed. Jan. 22nd\, 5:30-8PM\, 6-10 Volunteers are needed. (This event is now on Waiting List status.  If you sign up you will receive the automated response but will only receive the details if we have a volunteer cancellation). We will be packing and organizing home-delivery food bag orders that are delivered (not by us) to community members who are unable to come to the facility many because of medical issues\, will help with received food donations\, & may help in their attached food market which is like a grocery store.  Metro Caring relieves hunger while also addressing the root causes of that hunger.  The event will be in Central Denver.  There is free parking next to the building.  This is our sixth opportunity to help this worthy non profit which last year distributed over 2+ million pounds of nutritious food to hungry families & individuals while also providing education and tools to help participants improve their health and reach their potential.
