DESCRIPTION:Postal Carriers-Stamp Out Hunger\, Sat. May 13\, 2-5PM\, 5 volunteers needed. (This event is now on Waiting List status.  If you sign up you will get the automated responses but will only be contacted with the details if we get a volunteer cancellation). The National Assn. of Letter Carriers is sponsoring an event throughout our Metro area where they will be picking up food donations along their carrier routes & will be bringing it back to their post offices.  We will be at a Post Office (near Pecos/76th) to help unload and sort the food so trucks can take it back to the Action Center where it will be distributed to low-income families.  This is the first time that we’ve helped with this event.  It sounds like a very worthwhile event that will make quite a difference for low-income families!
