SUMMARY:Serving Dinner at Denver Rescue Mission!
DESCRIPTION:Serving Dinner at the Denver Rescue Mission\, Tues. January 3rd\, 4:30-6:30PM\, 6 Volunteers are needed. We will be serving dinner to the homeless in their Downtown facility. They are especially busy now with many migrants being brought here from Venezuela etc.  They do have two free parking areas for the volunteers.  For some of the guests\, the meals they serve at the Mission are the only source of nutrition they receive.  They say that “with each healthy meal comes strength to face the new challenges of each day.”  They serve over 600\,000 meals to the hungry each year.  We have helped them several times before. They do follow COVID guidelines to be sure it is a safe experience.  The volunteers truly find this to be a worthwhile cause & enjoy the experience!  It is important for us to help them at this time especially with the ER shelter and unexpected influx of migrants!!
