SUMMARY:Lakewood Food & Wine event benefiting Bayaud Enterprises!
DESCRIPTION:Lakewood Food & Wine benefiting Bayaud Enterprises\, Sat. Sept.10\, 10:00AM-2:30PM\, 5 Volunteers are needed. (This event is now on Waiting List status.  If you sign up you will receive 2 automated responses but will only be contacted with the details if we get a volunteer cancellation.) We will be Food & Wine area monitors who assist with checking tickets and entry into the secured tasting area.  Bayaud Enterprises helps people with hurdles/disabilities to engage in the workforce and attain self-reliance.  The event will be held in a park in Lakewood and will run until 6PM so you can stay and enjoy the event if you wish.  They will have bands from 11AM-6PM\, will have lawn games\, tie-dye\, food trucks\, a wine tasting\, & even the Lakewood Mayor will be speaking.  This is such a worthwhile organization that helps create jobs\, provides training for future employment\, and assists individuals and families in accessing social services and other community services that are available.
